(WIB) and New Directions Southcoast, Inc., is planning to kick-off a summer jobs campaign for New Bedford youth ages 14 and up. This effort will reach out to local business owners and the community as a whole in order to solicit both financial contributions and job pledges for the Summer of 2008. These jobs and donations will be used to put the City&#8217;s youth to work and thereby have an impact on the city and community as a whole. Last summer, this program was a great success and it is hoped that this upcoming summer will demonstrate even more success. ]]></description>
