The formerly named Thompson Surveying and Engineering, founded by the late Arthur C. Thompson in 1952, was purchased, renamed, and relocated by Christian A. Farland in 2008.

Farland are invited to attend the Grand Opening of Thompson Farland, Inc. on June 25th between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on site at 30 North Water Street, New Bedford, MA. The Honorable Scott W. Lang, Mayor of the City of New Bedford will perform the actual Ribbon Cutting at 6:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
