New Bedford, MA – July 16, 2009 – Thompson Farland, Inc. celebrated the relocation of the company to the New Bedford Whaling National Historic Park with a ribbon cutting event that took place on Thursday, June 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on site at 30 North Water Street, New Bedford, MA

To celebrate this event, town officials, business professionals, friends, and family came together to welcome owner Christian A. Farland and his new business. The Honorable Scott W. Lang, Mayor of the City of New Bedford helped perform the actual ribbon cutting. The formerly named Thompson Surveying and Engineering, founded by the late Arthur C. Thompson in 1952, was purchased, renamed, and relocated by Christian A. Farland.
