On Friday, September 25, 2009 the YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts will host its 4th Annual Sizzlin’ Salsa Dance Party in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The Sizzlin’ Salsa Dance Party is a fundraising event to benefit YWCA leadership development programs for young women. The event will incorporate Latin music, food and dance—and you don’t even need to know how to Salsa to join in the fun.



Johnny and Felicita Giraldo from Boston’s, Salsa y Control Dance Company will be back by popular demand to teach the group Salsa dance lessons. Guests will enjoy a Spanish buffet from area restaurants, a salsa showcase, chances to win great prizes, live entertainment from Flamenco guitarist, Brian Mello and dancing throughout the night with a mix of music by DJ Eric Lopes.

The evening will be hosted at The Sky Room in Howland Place, 651 Orchard Street in New Bedford from 8pm to 1am.
