Workshop will help you understand how to properly manage your business in a fluctuating economy
New Bedford, MA – The New Bedford and Fall River Area Chambers of Commerce will be hosting a workshop entitled “Financial Management in a Downturn” on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the SouthCoast Business Expo at White’s of Westport, 66 State Road, Westport, MA.
With an ever changing economy it is difficult to determine what financial issues will arise next. However, with proper financial management things can be easier to handle. This workshop will help you understand how to properly manage your business in a fluctuating economy. The speakers will also address how the Obama Administration tax policies will affect small businesses.
The workshop presenters are Jeffrey L. Raymon, CPA, MST and Alan M. Zexter, CPA. Mr. Raymon is Managing Shareholder of Raymon Pielech and Zexter PC. He has over 35 years experience on both a local and national level as a CPA. Mr. Raymon is a frequent speaker and writer on tax planning and compliance issues affecting individuals and small to mid-size businesses. He has spoken at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ National Tax Institute in Washington, D.C., at the Bentley College Tax Institute, and on behalf of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Bentley College. He is also a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Alan Zexter is the Director of Assurance & Advisory Services at Raymon Pielech and Zexter PC and is the Director of the firm’s Martha’s Vineyard location. Mr. Zexter is a frequent speaker on small business money management and tax issues for local chambers of commerce. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
