Gardening seminar was a highlight of the show for attendees last year
New Bedford, MA - The New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes back The Old Farmer’s Almanac for their highly anticipated gardening seminar at the Greater New Bedford Home and Garden Show taking place at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School on March 6th and 7th. Last year, the gardening seminar was a highlight of the show for attendees, and this year is sure to be even better.
The Old Farmer’s Almanac is North America’s oldest, continuously published periodical. Released annually in the fall, the Almanac is read by 18.5 million people each year who turn to its 80 percent accurate weather forecasts as well as the expert advice on home and garden. Join the Editor Janice Stillman, the Almanac’s first female editor, on Saturday, March 6th at 11:00am to learn more about the Almanac, its roots in American history, and how it can help gardens grow. Topics covered will include:
* The story behind The Old Farmer’s Almanac, North America’s oldest continuously published periodical
* New ways to fill small spaces
* Time-tested tips for growing fruits and vegetables in containers and in the ground
* Landscape ideas that are both beautiful and economical
