BER inc Presents to National Audience of Lightning Protection Business Owners and Heirs

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 23, 2007, Mattapoisett, MA—BER inc, a leading provider of brand development, management and communications services, is pleased to announce that Kevin Barry, account manager, spoke on May 16th to a national audience of business owners in the lightning protection industry, and to their heirs about the importance of building brand equity. The talk included an educational presentation by Kerrin Adrian, project director, and Jane Ohrenberger, senior graphic designer, who provided a comprehensive overview of what a brand is and how a cohesive brand is developed, maintained and communicated. Held in Simsbury, Connecticut, this event was sponsored by East Coast Lightning Equipment, Inc. (ECLE) located in Winsted, Connecticut.

“I am sure that each of our customers will take a step towards focusing more on their professional image because of the info you provided,” said Jennifer Morgan, who owns and operates ECLE, which has been in business for over twenty years. "That is exactly what we had hoped to accomplish.”

The presentation guided participants through the brand appraisal process, helping them to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their own brands. “Our experience shows that successful companies don’t ever spend money on marketing,” said Barry. “They make a long-term investment in their most valuable asset—their brand.”
