There seems to be a very troubling trend in the world today… That of media outlets steering the course of public debate to serve their own political ends…

We’ve come to expect such outrages when they come from overseas, I.e. photo-shopped pictures of tragedies in the Middle East, French 4 News lying about the death of a 12 year old Palestinian boy in a shoot out with Israeli Defense Forces, Massacres that didn’t take place (Jenin), or over emphasis on singular atrocities committed by a handful of our troops in Iraq (Diyala)… Rhetorically I ask, How many U.S. British, or Australian POW's are there in the current conflict??

This perversion of media outlets serves to inflame the passions of our enemies, and Daily’s such as Al-Quds and TV news outlets like Al-Jazeera are all too happy to repeat them… The result being a constant state of furor aimed at the Great Satan and it‘s Kufr (infidel) inhabitants…

Recent events both locally and Nationally lead me to believe the same trend is now rampant in this country…

A recent article in “The Standard Times (Tripe)” by Brian Fraga, Rev. Marc Fallon made the irrational claim that the muggings of 2 Illegal Mayans was somehow caused by the bigotry and vitriol espoused on WBSM's airwaves… Anyone who actually listens to the hosts on the station, or follows the crime statistics of the illegal Latino population knows this is a complete absurdity…

The issue however, isn’t that some crackpot leftist Priest would make such an uninformed statement; rather it’s the way the Standard Tripe printed it as if it somehow had merit… Never did the South Coast’s “paper of record” try to quantify any of the rash sentiments expressed, either by asking Rev Fallon for an instance of Mayan Bashing on WBSM, or by providing one themselves… Make no mistake, Mr. Fraga is not to subtly trying to further the assault on talk radio being waged by liberals across the country in the wake of several "Progressive" set backs...  Their tactic, as usual, is to throw invectives and accusations around like wet spaghetti then see if it sticks to the walls (Just like Palestinian and Arab news outlets)… Since debate isn’t part of the print medium, quite often the scurrilous sentiments are left unchallenged in the public arena (again like Islamic news outlets)…

On the national level we are being bombarded by slanted reporting, ( A recent Harvard study on all media found that 85% of the reporters are democrats/liberals)… This isn’t hard to believe when one sees how political debate in this country is steered towards attacking Conservatism & the current administration…

This is best illustrated by looking at the difference in the media’s reporting of  2 “National Security” issues; the trial / pardon of Scooter Libby & the Sandy Berger cover up…

What crime did Mr. Libby commit? That’s difficult, even for legal experts, to answer… But it would appear his crime was not being completely straight forward with Tim Russert when asked about Valerie Plame… For anyone following the facts of the case, Libby didn’t actually out anybody as most people believe; that honor belongs to former Under-Secretary of State Richard Armitage… How do I know this?  Because Armitage admitted to it on the witness stand (in fact he told the special prosecutor just that, some 18 months before Libby went to trial) and in fact had it not been for the blind trust that a jury put in Tim Russert’s "memory" Mr. Libby would not have been convicted of anything… As a note Mr. Russert’s "memory" was proven fallible on the witness stand, and no one has died as a result of Ms. Plames “outing” which was one of the worst kept secrets inside the Washington Beltway by the way…

(people who have read my opinions know I believe we are in Iraq to keep Iran in check, ergo Saddam was a domino that had to be toppled, so “outing” Ms. Plame has nothing to do with those who died in Iraq, American or Iraqi)

The same cannot be said of Sandy Berger’s transgressions…

It is now known that Mr. Berger, while preparing for his testimony before the 9/11 commission, went into the National Archives and removed/ stole documents which purportedly detailed how the Clinton Administration ignored repeated warnings from varying intelligence sources that stressed Al-Qaida was preparing a large scale attack on the American mainland, (Allegedly the documents dealt with the after action report on the Millennium bombing plot as well as potential ongoing operations underway within the country)…

Mr. Berger has not yet been forced to take the lie detector test that was part of his plea deal; nor did he receive any jail time for his criminal obstruction of a congressional inquiry, and he has been given a relative free pass from the Leftist media…

Thousands of people died on 9/11 and the media would have us believe that somehow the Bush administration caused it all through the failed policies implemented in its 1st nine months in office… It is clearly stated in the commissions findings that the 9/11 plans took some 2 years to come to fruition, yet the media constantly frames the argument as if somehow, had Al Gore been elected, the event would never have taken place…

Yes there is clearly a double standard in this country… If you’re a leftist democrat the media will treat even the most serious violation of the public’s trust as though it were a college prank… Whereas if a conservative makes the slightest foible he is for all intents and purposes burned at the stake…

(no call for the impeachment of Democratic La. Gov. Blanco or New Orleans Mayor Nagin in the wake of hurricane Katrina, instead the media blamed George Bush…)

I believe the template for this new way of mass mind control was born during the 90’s in the Balkans, ( obviously, history has proven we backed the wrong horse)… Despite all the evidence of Iranian & Islamist involvement in the violence, by nightly misrepresenting the facts on the ground, CNN & a teary eyed Christian Ahmanpour were able to represent the Muslims in the Balkans as the sole victims in the conflict, and we sheeple ate it up like filet mignon… The reality is CNN employing the Arab media model, kept telling the lie and eventually it became fact…

That there is no public outcry over what is taking place in the media, speaks volumes about how successful liberals have been in their assault on, not only Conservatives, but dissenting opinions et. al.. … The only way to fight such Nazi like control of the public message is to arm yourself with information from mediums that provide critical thought… In that regard I would like to suggest people look to other sources to glean their information… & boycott Propaganda rags like the Standard Times / Tripe

This author recommends finding conservative book clubs & publishers ala the American Compass (now the Conservative Book Club) or Regnery publishing for instance  -

In truth if you can’t see the trouble with contemporary media outlets in this country, you are now part of a flock that is shepherded by the liberal elite, & are no longer capable of thinking for yourself…
