New Bedford, MA – Booth space is still available for businesses wishing to exhibit at the New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce’s 20th Annual Greater New Bedford Home Show, to be held on Saturday, March 8th and Sunday, March 9th. For home and garden retailers, contractors, service providers, and others who do business in the home and garden marketplace or want to increase their visibility among local homeowners, this annual home show—the South Coast area’s largest and most established—is an opportunity to sell directly to hundreds of potential customers who will be actively seeking products and services for home, garden, and leisure. Past and current exhibitors represent a wide variety of home and garden industry segments, including kitchen and bath, siding, paint, spas and pools, decking, windows, fences, cabinetry, furniture and other products; services such as general contracting, landscaping, and decorating; and financial products such as mortgages and home insurance.

For the second year, the show will be held in the Field House at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, 1121 Ashley Boulevard, in New Bedford’s North End. Last year’s exhibitors were pleased with the move from the school’s cafeteria, where the show had been held in previous years, because the new exhibition space provided greater visibility, better traffic flow, an easier move-in and move-out process, more space for displays, and amenities such as better lighting and a high-quality public address system for announcements. It also allows for food concessions on the show floor and a seminar area nearby.

Since its inception in 1988, the popularity of the New Bedford Home Show has grown tremendously. “We expect a strong turnout again this year as homeowners look for creative and affordable solutions for improving their homes and outdoor living spaces,” said Chamber President Roy Nascimento.

Exhibit space, starting at just $325 for a 10’x8’ booth, is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Businesses interested in exhibiting are encouraged to reserve their space early to ensure a spot. Exhibitors who reserve early will also have the opportunity to submit proposals for Home Show seminars. “People come to this show looking for solid, hands-on information,” said Nascimento. “We want to hear from businesses offering real solutions for homeowners, presented in an organized and engaging format that people will enjoy and learn from.” For more information or to reserve a booth, please call the Chamber’s show manager at (508) 999-5231 extension 26 or e-mail events@newbedfordchamber.com
