NORTH DARTMOUTH, Ma. — Medical Survival Consultants announces a new addition to their training staff.  James Gamelin R.N. of Coventry, Rhode Island has joined the instructional staff of Medical Survival Consultants as a Safety Consultant/Instructor after a recent retirement from OSHA Consultation.  Medical Survival Consultants will now offer courses in workplace safety and health including many mandatory courses outlining the most current OSHA regulations as well as many recommended courses in areas of interest to various industrial, retail, distribution and healthcare settings.  After thirty years of work with OSHA Consultation as well as many impressive positions, articles and appearances Jim Gamelin is an honored addition to MSC.

Jim Gamelin recently retired as the Administrator for federal OSHA’s Consultation Project in Rhode Island. During his 30 year tenure with Consultation he pioneered several innovative efforts which helped business owners to reduce injuries while increasing productivity and efficiency.
     
Under his leadership hundreds of small employers avoided costly OSHA fines. As an activist for entrepreneurs Mr. Gamelin partnered with hundreds of small enterprises, guiding employers and training workers through the myriad of complex and confusing safety regulations.
     
Jim has been honored for his achievements as an outstanding trainer and safety professional and is proud of the numerous accolades he’s received from civic and professional organizations. He’s been a featured speaker for numerous seminars, served as an adjunct faculty instructor at RI College and CCRI and is a published author.
Mr. Gamelin, RN, has established ties with the Fall River area as a graduate of Bristol Community College’s Nursing Program and as a former safety consultant for the Diocese of Fall River.
