Louise Pelletier - Greater New Bedford Workflorce Investment BoardThe Greater New Bedford Workforce Investment Board, Inc. (WIB) is pleased to announce the addition of Louise Pelletier to the WIB staff. Louise recently relocated to Rhode Island, having lived in Massachusetts for many years. Louise’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Education and a Masters in Public Administration from Suffolk University. Her professional experience includes over 15 years in information systems operations management, adult training, and customer support.

Most recently, Ms. Pelletier worked for a women’s business center, The Center for Women & Enterprise, as a Program Manager/Business Development and Training Specialist. Her focus was concentrated on developing and coordinating entrepreneurial training programs for a multi-cultural, economically disadvantaged population. Additionally, she developed and implemented a financial literacy program offered in partnership with other nonprofit agencies in the Metro Boston area. Through these experiences, Louise honed her expertise in the areas of training, micro-enterprise, and program development. In particular, Louise brings her expertise in projects that require extensive strategic planning and consensus building on projects with competing goals and outcomes. She hopes to bring this combination of skills and experience forward in advancing the mission of the WIB.

Louise lives in historic Pawtuxet Village, Rhode Island, with her life partner.
