New Bedford GOP Co-Sponsors VP Debate-Watching Event

GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN (R-AK) POWERED BY CHIPPI? The New Bedford Republican Party and the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth College Republicans are pleased to announce their co-sponsorship of a Vice-Presidential Debate-watching event to be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Mirasol’s Café in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Thrilled by the selection of Gov. Sarah Palin as Sen. John McCain’s vice-presidential running mate, SouthCoast GOP members will gather to cheer on Governor Palin as she squares off against Delaware Senator Joseph Biden.
A round-table discussion will kick-off the evening’s celebration at 8:00PM, followed by a live webcast of the Vice-Presidential Debate on a 10-foot big-screen at 9:00PM. A full coffee-bar and spread of desserts will be available courtesy of Mirasol’s Café.
Representatives of the Massachusetts for McCain-Palin ’08 will also be available to recruit volunteers and share updates regarding the recent Bristol County and New Bedford Phone-Banking initiatives.
The event will run from 8:00PM – 11:00PM and is free and open to the public.
