District Attorney Sam Sutter announced the launch of the First Annual Free Baseball Clinic that will kick off in New Bedford this Saturday at New Bedford Vocation Technical School. Accompanying D.A. Sutter for this announcement were New Bedford Major Scott Lang and New Bedford Police Chief Ron Teachman.

An ever evolving part of Sutter's initiatives to help provide a healthy environment for children has now grown to include baseball. Sutter's free sports clinics now include Tennis (coached by himself and volunteers from the District Attorney's Office), Basketball and now baseball.

The Baseball Clinics will be led by Brian Rose (former Red Sox player) and many of the staff of the District Attorney's Office will participate as part of their ongoing commitment to volunteer  in the communities that they serve.

Clinics will take place in New Bedford, Fall River, Attleboro, and Taunton.

Dates / Times for the clinics are:

GNB Voc Tech, New Bedford: Saturday, April 11th

Ages 7 - 10 from 12 pm - 1:30pm
Ages 11 - 14 from 1:30pm - 3pm

Durfee High School, Fall River: Saturday, April 25th

Ages 7 - 10 from 2pm to 3:30 pm
Ages 11 - 14 from 3:30pm to 5pm

Attleboro High School - Saturday, May 2nd

Ages 7 - 10 from 2pm to 3:30 pm
Ages 11 - 14 from 3:30pm to 5pm

Taunton High School, Taunton - Saturday, May 9th

Ages 7 - 10 from 2pm to 3:30 pm
Ages 11 - 14 from 3:30pm to 5pm

Rain or shine! If it's raining - clinics will be indoors.
