Nathan Pierce Photography

Each photograph relays a unique and special sense of history for New Bedford photographer, Nathan Pierce.  His portraits, wedding photography and fine art express the innate simplicity and symbolism of the human spirit, and the intimacy between bride and groom.    

Behind the lens, Nathan is a whirlwind of motion, energy and communication.  His love for photographing relationships and echoing the nuances of his subjects in his craft, strike a delicate balance of technical skill and creativity.

An eager apprentice to his father throughout his adolescence, Nathan began learning the craft of commercial wedding photography as a teenager, and developed the important skills of listening to his subjects and how best to convey their emotions and expressions. 

Despite his youth, 25, Nathan is thrilled to help expand and infuse new energy to his father’s studio, Dana Pierce Photography (Dartmouth, MA).  Nathan was named Creative Director in 2007.

Nathan and Dana have also collaborated to compose an anecdotal book focusing on a collection of their all-time favorite humorous, endearing and heart-wrenching wedding stories.  Their upcoming book is entitled:  Not At My Wedding!  The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
