The New Bedford Republican Party now boasts its own version of the ‘BIG THREE.’  Once again, a veteran ‘Pierce’ is joined by two tremendous additions to bolster a rapidly growing and developing leadership team.

Delegates from each of the SouthCoast’s major Republican committees convened Wednesday, March 5, 2008 to elect a new State Committeewoman to represent them at the State Committee of the Massachusetts Republican Party.  Jill-Marie Ussach, a New Bedford Republican Party activist and New Bedford School Committee member, was elected unanimously by the several dozen of Republican community activists and leaders present. 

Dear SouthCoast Republican Community and friends, I want to take this opportunity to thank so many of you for supporting me in my capacity as interim-Chairman of the New Bedford Republican Party since April, 2007.  I have enjoyed serving with you as we continuously grow and enhance our regional and municipal Republican organizations.

For New Bedford Republicans, success at the polls this past Election Day (Tuesday, November 6, 2007) has supplanted a growing trend of pessimism for SouthCoast GOP at the grassroots level.   Faced with a steady supply of political hurdles approaching the election cycle of 2008, Republicans (and specifically New Bedford Republicans) have been actively aware that the groundwork set forth in 2007 has an impact upon municipal, statewide and national races during the upcoming presidential contest and throughout.
The New Bedford Republican Party is pleased to announce its endorsement of Jill Ussach for New Bedford School Committee.

Throughout 2007, the New Bedford Republican Party has been thrilled to host and acquaint itself with a truly exceptional and inviting Republican candidate for US Senate, Mr. Jeff Beatty from Harwich, MA.
The New Bedford Republican Party will host its monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 103 Caroline Street, New Bedford, with an announced business meeting time of 6:30PM.  The agenda for the September meeting will be substantial.
Believed by some in the Whaling City to be physically and socially extinct, the New Bedford Republican Party has, by contrast, only just begun its resurrection and renaissance.
