With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, one would expect our local Friendly Sons of St. Patrick to throw open the doors for a true Irish celebration.  For sixty-seven years, the Friendly Sons have done just that with their annual dinner-dance as their way of celebrating the Feast of St. Patrick.

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — St. Luke’s Hospital’s clam chowder took first prize for the second year in a row at the New Bedford Seaport Chowder Festival at Custom House Square on September 16. St. Luke’s also earned third place in the table presentation category.
DARTMOUTH- If you can't find a store bought tomato with the savory tomato taste you remember from your youth, come to the Dartmouth Grange Agricultural Fair on Saturday, Sept 8th  for  it's First Annual Heirloom Tomato Festival!
Anytime I travel away from the South Coast I enjoy eating in the different places along the way. In fact, I go out of my way to find places of local interest to stop in and experience. Breakfast is an absolute must when I’m on the road. It is my favorite meal to eat, anytime and virtually anywhere.
