North Dartmouth, MA- UMass Dartmouth School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST) Professors Steven Cadrin and Daniel Georgianna have both been appointed for three-year terms to the New England Fisheries Management Council's Science and Statistical Committee. The appointments were announced by Council Chair John Pappalardo at the Feb. 12 Council meeting in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

So a friend calls me to tell me that he has just dropped his Blackberry in the toilet. He routinely keeps his blackberry in a holster attached to his belt and yesterday while paying a visit to the throne room, his blackberry unhooked from his belt and dropped right into the toilet.

New Bedford, Massachusetts- Mayor Scott W. Lang today announced the launch of the City of New Bedford’s newly redesigned website, giving city residents greater access to their municipal government. Developed, designed and maintained by the Management Information Systems (MIS) Department, NewBedford-ma.gov offers new features and services for residents, businesses and visitors.

Converting MS Office 2007 documents to Office 2003 Format

On several occasions over the past few weeks I've been sent documents (Word and Excel) that have been created using Microsoft Office 2007. If you weren't aware, documents produced in Office 2007 are not compatible with Office 2003 (the version I still use).
